Sylvia is a Personal Trainer and Boot Camp Instructor. Her mission is to motivate, educate and challenge her clients. Sylvia understands the determination and commitment needed to realize important fitness goals. She has over 10 years experience as a Professional Tennis Player, including Federation Cup Tournaments from 1996-97. Following a successful tennis career, Sylvia discovered the fantastic body toning effects of Resistance Training. This eventually lead to her first National Body Building Figure competition in 2007. Her training regime also includes the dynamic combat training of AMOK! Edge Weapon Survival tactics and Filipino Martial Arts. Sylvia's professional sporting, combative and fitness background sets her apart from other personal trainers in her ability to understand the challenges faced by her clients and deliver training programs to help them achieve extraordinary results. Her enthusiasm and commitment to a healthy lifestyle combined with a passion for fitness embodies her unique brand of Personal Training. CoreFitPT is a unique training style developed by Sylvia exclusively for her clients. This style incorporates the core training principles of explosive, dynamic and functional movements for optimum fitness. CoreFitPT training is designed to improve cardiovascular health, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, agility, balance and coordination. CoreFitPT combines strength and conditioning exercises such as boxing, kettlebells, dumbells, barbells, pull-up bars, TRX suspension bands and bodyweight. Progression across all fitness levels is an integral part of the CoreFitPT training style. CoreFitPT training can lead to the development of a leaner, tighter and stronger physique. This form of exercise is ideal for fat loss, figure/physique competition and sports specific training. Boot Camp combines cardio, boxing, kickboxing, clubbels, kettlebells and bodyweight training - even some stick fighting drills, in a friendly group environment. This non-military style of Boot Camp is suited to all fitness levels. Team building provides you with the motivation and inspiration to bring out your best. The Boot Camp program is designed to be fun, effective and results focused. Training in a team helps to push you further towards your goals than training alone. You'll be rewarded with increased fitness, reduced body fat, lower stress levels and new friends with like-minded goals! Boot Camp classes can be prearranged for private groups or corporate programs.
